Further decoding my VIN

I have read the post in Fifth Gen FAQ at
5th Generation FAQ

but there's a part that doesn't match my VIN, the 8th digit on my VIN is not 4 or 5 (base or SH), it's 7. My prelude is Canadian made so that must be the reason for the difference, but does anyone know what the 7 signifies?

What is your trim level?

My car is an SE. But I noticed while reading
Used Prelude Review
That "in 2001 the Type SH was replaced by the Prelude SE."
So now I'm wondering if my SE is in fact BASE or is it just the Canadian '01 version of SH!?
I figured by checking my VIN i'd be able to clarify what trim I have, base or SH, but the digit in my trim position is not 4/5, base/SH, it's 7!
Understand my confusion?

There's info somewhere around here about the Canadian SE. I think it's, more or less, a base model w/ a cold weather package, leather seats, etc...

That's probably why it's a 7, rather than the 4 or 5. 7=SE.

Tee dot is correct. SE = Base model with cold weather package - heated side view mirrors and heated seats.

The Canadain SH also came with the cold waether package.

Canadians are soo cool. They even has daytime running lights.

I like this guy. I don't see what the big deal is about a low sperm count. Sounds like a blessing.

So I just made a sig that features my car so you can see it. It IS an SE, just seems to closely resemble an SH trim. Maybe it's just a Canadian SE thing...

Any thoughts?

They are aftermarket ones that the previous owner must have installed. They are bright as hell but I don't know what he had against the original ones.
