I just bought a 2001 Prelude SH...I was just wondering if anyone knows whats wrong with my car.
Everything runs fine for the most part, but when I start it up when its cold outside it gives me a jumpy idle, constantly revving up and down until its warmed up.
Not only that, when I'm in 5th gear crusing on the highway, the RPMs are at 4100 at 80mph. At 70 they're at like 3600mph. Is that normal? It seems a little high for me.
The 5th gear rpm of 4100 at 80 mph is normal, it is a 4 cylinder motor, and only 5 gears you cant expect it to be much lower than that, crusing at that speed on the highway you will still get around 26-30 mpg, which is still really good, so no worries there.
