Fuel rail studs removable?

Anyone who has dealt with the fuel rail, do you know if the studs that hold it in place can be removed from head? Thanks for any input.

The fuel rail studs are on the intake manifold and NOT the head. You could always cut them off with grinder or other tools if you wanna get rid of the studs.

I don't think they are. I cross threaded 2 of the 3 studs and I would have just removed the studs and put new ones in if I could have.

Why do you need longer ones?

NOS NOSzles, they fit under the fuel injectors. NOS told me I have to compensate for up to an inch difference in height. The studs are the only thing that seem to be a problem. I'm trying to decide if I can do it before I order the kit, otherwise I'll just do standard DP.
