Fuel rail / IM question...

I ve got a 5th gen and I recently bought an OEM IM with TB and fuel rail etc. Im trying to sell the parts I dont need...

My question is; is the fuel rail the exact same on a 4th gen and a 5th gen? Or will a 4th work on a 5th & vice versa?

On a side note: The reason why I ask is, I sold the injectors to a guy who said they were OBD1 (they required a resistor box??) and I thought they were OBD11 cause I was told when I bought the IM that it came off a 99 5th gen lude...

Another question: Is there any way I can visually tell the difference if there is any between the 5th gen IM & 4th???? Cause I didnt think there was any of great significance.

Thanks

Yeah that is what I told the guy... and that is what I stated when I sold them to him. But once he recieved them he turned around and said that they were'nt OBDII and that I sold him the wrong parts... So that is what I am trying to figure out is the IM etc that I have, is it from a 4th Gen or a 5th???
I was told it was from a 5th by the person I got it from.... is there a difference between the two?

Could be from a 99 JDM Lude, which would not be OBDII

The fuel rails are also identical to a Accord f22a & f22b's the only difference is the feed side. Could this manifold have come from an Accord? Does anyone know if the intake maifold bolt patterns are the same from an f22 head to an h22 head?

I think the prelude fuel rail feeds from the drivers side-I'd have to look

Well the rail that I have (when mounted to the IM) feeds from the drivers side if that helps.

Then it sounds like at least a 1992 to either 96 or 97 when did they switch to OB2? 98 right? manifold setup, if its OB1 injector I'd bet that its an 92-96, and doesn't belong to an accord.

^^^ Not sure I am understanding what your getting at????

Anyway here is where I am at with this issue. I Just got my car back from the shop so I took off the cover on the injector wires and moved stuff out of the way as much as I could and matched up the rails. And what'd you know.. they are the same, attaches the same, FPR in the same place! Everything is good so...

Thanks for ya'lls help

anybody need a fuel rail?

4th and 5th H22 rails are the same. JDM is different (feed location).

The 4th gen IM has a few more vacuum lines and an additional idle control valve on the front. On the 5th these vacuum stubs are not there and they idle control valve location is plated off. I dont have any pics to share, but the differences should be obvious looking at the IM diagrams on slhondaparts.com

Thanks for the help Todd. Is it true about the injectors on an OBDI lude (that they need a resistor box)?
