Hello All...been a while since I visited here (way too busy)... I did some maintenance checks on my neglected '01 SE a couple days ago. Definitely needs some TLC! Both front rotors are so hot I can't touch 'em. I hardly used the brakes on my last trip home from work (applied Hand brake & downshifted) - and still hot. What are the odds of both front calipers being seized? Also, if I want to check the slider pins & grease them and check the rubber Boot, do I need to remove the whole caliper from rotor? What are the steps involved in this procedure? (checked my Hanes manual and wasn't very detailed about this) Right now I'm driving mostly in the rain and plowing thru puddles to cool off those sizzling rotors.

(don't worry - not THAT deep puddles to crack the block!). My baby seems to have better performance & fuel economy in wet weather anyways - not sure why. Checked back rotors and they're spinning relatively freely (after a push they spin about 2 rotations - with wheel rim on) I've noticed most Preludes (newer Generation) have this Caliper problem. Is this a design problem from Honda engineering? - Thanx all.
