The OEM bracket is much better than just using 2 holes in the bumper or finding something at an auto parts store (I tried that, was very flimsy). I found the diagram online, circled the parts I needed, and had my dealer get the parts. Probably $20-30 or so in parts IIRC, maybe a bit more, but one of the dealers with a website would probably be cheaper. It was a snap to put on. You don't need to pull your bumper.
I'm not sure about this "drill 2 holes in your bumper" thing. Didn't the bumper come with the proper holes from the factory? This I wouldn't know since I got my car used.

I believe they were items 4, 32, 35, 43, 41, 44. I might have missed a couple.
