Friend got me interested in AEM pullies, need feedback

I was complaining of how the low end for 5 gens are a bit sluggish and my friend told me to get the AEM pullies. He said it helped his SS low end. The main thing im concerned about is warranty issues and whether or not the alternator pulley is still effective. I heard that sometimes it drains the battery at idle, I do not want that. I also run a 4 channel pioneer premier amp and am afraid of discharging my battery. Also the AC is a lil weaker I hear, but thats not big deal to me, just worried about the alternator thing. Also how are these to install if I decided to get them? And what kind of power would I gain. Low end is what im shooting for. Thanks for your help

JVC KD-SH99 you have that already
Pioneer TS-6975 3way 6x9s
Infinity Reference 605cs 6.5" Components
Pioneer Premier 35x4 RMS amp
Rockford Fosgate power/ground wires and generic speaker wires

That is the amp I have, there are some more powerful 4 channels, but the pioneer 3 ways might not me able to handle that power. But its not like youll listen to it extremely loud. The highest lvl I listen mine to is volume lvl 12 on the deck. You will have to cut the spreaker grille like i said for the rears, and you will have to remove the cone in the door for the components. Took me a long time but it was very satisfying in the end.
