Found out where the weird smell was coming from

Not too long ago i posted online about a burning plastic smell from my car.

Today I took my car to goodyear and they showed me plastic melted onto my exhaust piping....there was a lot of plastic and i have to have it removed myself.

anyone have any suggestions on this? im thinking about using a power tool (dremel w/sand paper head) and using a finer sand paper to get the remaing portions off.

The plastic is very very hard and goodyear said they do not want to mess with it.

Hmm....probably a plastic bag that got stuck on it. Honestly, you can just leave it there, and it will burn off after awhile. Or if you want just wait till it cools down and pull it off with pliers or something. No big deal, the smell does eventually go away if you just leave it though.
