Forged Pistons??

Hey guys, quick question, does the Prelude come w/ forged pistons? Someone was telling me they did and another kid said they didn't?!!? I was also told that the new Ford Escort ZX3 or whatever, have forged pistons??? Anyway, I was just curious...

The Prelude comes with cast pistons.

I'm not sure if the ZX3 comes with forged pistons. I doubt it, they're expensive and not needed unless your pushing the engine pretty hard. There's no benefit to forged pistons on most stock cars.

I agree - I would fall over if I found out the ZX3 had forged pistons. Maybe someone was talking about a prototype or custom ZX3 done up for the auto shows - but on a mass production basis forged pistons are too expensive. Of course they'd also outlast the rest of the car
