Which of the following exhausts is deep..........

GReddy EVO ??

or

GReddy PE ??

I got a nice deal on either one of these used for a few months and if any of u EVO/PE owners could give some feedback on these two exhausts........

Im lookin for something that's deep, not loud....... Even tho GReddy exhausts aren't that loud compared to most other aftermarket exhausts.......

But yeah......... Which one of the two has deeper tone, not raspy or farty or annoying?

And any sound clips of either one?

TIA......

latez............

IMO both are LOUD!

Actually the Evo and PE is the same thing, only that the Evo was re-designed from the PE for lowered cars. Because the muffler on the PE was so huge that many ppl scrape and damage their mufflers.

I've had the EVO for almost a year now and I think it sounds great. I was looking for the same sound you seem to be looking for and I'm more than happy with it. Yes, it's pretty loud at WOT, but at other times it's a low grumble. I think it's meaty sounding and not buzzy or raspy. If I find a sound clip, I'll post it. I had one but I'm not able to locate it. And if you're at all lowered or going to be, go with the EVO. I'm lowered and I still occasionally scrape, so I'd hate to see what it'd be like with a PE.

Hey thanx much for ur feedback.....

Yeah my car will be lowered by the time I get my hands on the exhaust........ So the problem with the PE is that it hangs too low and will scrap much more often if the car is lowered rite? Nothing else much difference between that and the EVO.......?

BTW, I think the EVO looks better than the PE too......

Evo and PE are the same exhaust.
the cannister is simpler moved "up" so to not have it scrap on lowered cars. so yes, they both sound the same. kinda raspy, if you ask me - don't like it.

i have PE and my friend has EVO(GSR). my PE seems to fart a little deeper than the EVO. not much of a comparison since the engines are different. anyways, that's just what i think. imo, i think the PE is a bit better cuz since it's offered to higher-end rides like supra tt, rx7 and 300z tt. this reason swayed me to get the PE instead of EVO. my PE doesn't look like that though what evil showed. well, almost........

Whoa I just heard from my friend that the GReddy SP sounds the best out of all the GReddys?

With a nice deep and rumble sound?

Argh now I can't make up my mind!!

Greddy SP, Thermal R&D, and Apexi WS are pretty fine exhausts IMO. My pick is the Thermal, then SP, then WS. I wouldn't get the evo or pe due to sound.........

GReddy: "With a similar flow rate and muffler can to the PE systems, the EVO's new offset tip design improves road clearance in most models. Another benefit is the appearance of a small muffler on the car, but still allows for excellent sound suppression. "

The SP is quite a bit louder than the Evo. I know this because I have the Evo on my lude, & a buddy of mine has the SP. Believe me it's the louder of the 3! I'm pretty sure the Evo fits the description of what you're lookin for

Evil get the Thermal... looks almost stock so the cops won't be on your ass as much and its the best sounding exhaust out there for the Lude.
