so I bought brand new hid headlights and I installed them myself. There wasn't any problems when I started connecting the wires. Before i even put the housing on i tested to see if the lights work and it did. After putting the housing in and all the wires together they worked. But then suddenly one of the lights started flickering. So I tested it out the other side and it also flickered on that side. Could there be a problem with the bulb? I'm not too sure how to fix this flickering problems.

What did you "test on the other side" ? Did you test the bulb or did you test the ballast? Details.

When i had that problem it was the bulb but make sure you try it with both ballasts and use the bulb that flickering!

I tested both ballast on both lights and only one was flickering.

sorry, lets just say the left bulb started flickering. so to see if it was the ballast i tested on the right ballast and tested the right bulb with the left ballast. the left bulb was still flickering.

change the bulb it should be free if you just got it!

So the LEFT bulb with the LEFT ballast was flickering. Then you tried the RIGHT bulb with the LEFT ballast and now the RIGHT bulb was flickering as well?

Did you try the LEFT bulb with the RIGHT ballast to see if it would flicker? If it doesn't then your LEFT ballast is bad.

i checked on it and even with the right ballast that same left bulb was flickering. It isnt the ballast because the right bulb wasnt flickering with the left ballast. So I really think its the bulb
