when i went to work and was gonna go home, i noticed my tire was flat for some reason, so i took it to the gas station and filled up the air, and i drove till my house which is like 10 minutes away, and it didnt lose any air after the drive. But after a few hours of keeping the car parked, it started slowly losing air. There's no visible damage on the tire and i hadnt crashed into anything, so whats wrong wiht it?? what should I do?
btw, i think these tires still have warranty.
take it to a local tire store you might have a nail or something. They can find the leak, have them patch it up. Do Not have them plug it, plugs suck. Or just go get a new one if it is under warranty!

The best puncture/leak fix on a Z rated tire is DEFINITELY where they remove your tire from the rim and do an internal patch. I completely agree about the plugs. Over time the plugs can leak and also allow moisture between the tire's layers resulting in rust in the steel belts. Below is an example of a Z-rated tire patch. Z-rated tire patch example
Oh yeah, sorry about your tire. I had a hole as well in a new RE 730. Not happy!
around here, i get so many flats within the year it's not even funny anymore.
i've gone through an insane amount of new tires due to potholes, nails near the sidewall, slashes from glass, that i just replace the 3rd tire within the year.
Road damage is not covered under the Bridgestone warranty. You just have to go get your tire fixed. Your dealer may be able to fix it. I'd give them a call first before going down there. ImagePree is right about plugs vs. patches if the tire is not expected to last long and you don't anticipate driving fast (with his tire luck a plug is fine). If your tire is low mileage and may last a while then I would be a little concerned at fast speeds like a road trip near the end of the tire's life. Tread separation could occur. A Bridgestone dealer would be a good place to go get your tire fixed as well. Just my opinion.
Actually, I always get flat tires since they're having road constructions EVERYWHERE in San Francisco. Yeps, that's right.. EVERYWHERE. Nails in my tires all the time but I get them patched at tire places. Not too expensive, about $20. But last time I had side wall damage... maybe someone slashed my tire or something. They didn't have RE92s in stock so they offered me this tire called "Fulda Extremo". I think they're some European tires, but they have a lifetime warranty, even against side wall damage and road damage. Check it out at your local tire stores.
i had a nail in one of my tires.....took it to sears, firestone, bigOtires and another shop.......none of them would patch it, because of the rim size and they dont reccommend it, so i had to go to one of those ghetto shops so they could plug it......hope itll be ok.
