first ticket in the lude!!!

well.... at around 10:00pm tonight, i was pulled over for doing "50+" in a 25mph zone. it was my first ticket ever and i know i deserved it. i gotta go to court on the 14th of March, and im probly gonna havta pay a fat fine, but its my fault.

what the cop didn't see was, that i was going over 90mph and i took a turn out of the road going 50, and my back end whipped out. i could've been caught on reckless driving, but i wasn't. the cop made me call my parents and have them pick me up, or i would've been arrested and thrown in jail. i thank God that they were home.

well... i just thought that i'd share my story will everyone, and i don't think im gonna be speeding much anymore. peace1

OK EVERYBODY HERES HOW U GET OUT OF A TICKET

its really very simple, when u get ur ticket u pay it, only write a check for a dollar over the amout of ur ticket, ok so then the courthouse will send you back a check for the dollar that u over paid the ticket thinking that u just made an honest mistake, but they cant file ur ticket until u cash the check, So u just dont cash the check, its only a dollar so who cares an ur out of you ticket

good luck

or you could be smart like me. get the officers name that gave you the ticket....write it down with his number or you can call the police dept. call everyday asking if he is at work. if he answers just hang up. but call every day at different times. the day he isn't there or is off work schedule a court date on that day. most likely he won't show up and you will be out of the ticket completly.

check to see if the sign is a lisenced sign..if not you can get out of the ticket.

I tried paying 1 dollar over but I am not sure if it worked or not???

I got my ticket exactly like you did except i went over into the other lane, then into the dirt and my back end fish tailed on me. When i tried to correct, i over corrected and ended up hitting a tree. This was the day after i had gotten my lude. I had just registered it and titled it that morning. I didnt have it for 9 weeks while it was in the shop. I have since gotten it back, but i dont plan on doing that again. i didnt get a speeding ticket, but a "Failure to maintain control of the vehicle" ticket. They could have easily given me wreckless.

if you dont watch out it will be the first of many...

Ive spent just over $4500 on fines and court costs...just imagine if I could spend that on my car!

I read about that trick in a motorcycle mag. It's a myth. As soon as the ticket is issued you are responsible to pay or show. After your court date, it's just pay. Your ticket doesn't hang in limbo because of overpayment on a check. The reason I know it doesn't work is because my friend read the same mag, tried it and still got screwed...
PEACE

does that ticket thing really work? wouldn't they call your house or write you a letter indicating you didn't pay your fine?

-- my first ticket ever... o how i hated it.. i was "testing" my car cause it felt lilttle weak (later found out battery problems) so i was going like 40-50 in 25, hit turn going 30, VTEC into 40 seen cop right in front of me, downshift, brake, too late =( one siren and i knew it was for me. pulled me over, was gonna get speeding ticket ($95) and seat belt (40) then ended up with seatbelt, cause i was honest. (told the cop i waas going 40 and didn't wear seat belt.) the only damn reason the cop was dere was b/c me and some class mates always race through the developement to get to skool
