They wont say its totalled lol. All you gotta do is replace the door and rims. and maybe the front fender i cant tell if theres a hole or just the dent. everything else is a easy fix.

small hole and dent in the front fender, but the door sags when you open it. and i cant tell if its the door or the frame bent.

ins co gave me 3400 to fix it.
new front and rear bumper
new right blinker and taillight
new door shell
repair fender and rear quater panel
new rims.

but they only gave 500 to get new rims. am i the only one who thinks that wont happen????

Yep. You can easily replace your wheels for $500.

And if you have any pick-a-parts near you or any kind of salvage yard with 5th gens, you could probably replace all of that stuff for less than $1k. And use the rest for paint or whatever you want.

I got my SH wheels with almost new tires for $200 last summer. Look around, $500 is more than enough.

i was thinkin that the body shop had to show receipts for parts they bought, beacause i have a door and rear bumper that i would more than happily let them use if they will paint the whole car and put a new hood on it
