Yeah alluminum fidanza wheel, 7.9lb
I couldn't tell the difference with the lighter flywheel when I first turned the car on after the install, I revved it a little but it didn't seem that much different. I wouldn't say it'll make your car SOOO quicker, but after driving for a while, I felt that revmatching/downshifting was a lot easier, and starting from a stop required a little bit more riding the clutch. Revs do rise quicker, and drop faster, and the higher ur revs are, the FASTER it'll drop. You increased drop in flywheel speed isn't really noticeable in daily driving, only when you take it to redline. I got my clutch changed out with an exedy sport at the same time and the clutch was more eager to grab stall out due to the increased clamp force. The stiffer the clutch, and the lighter the flywheel, the easier it'll be to stall, requiring a harsher/longer start. One thing I want to point out is, like every mod, you'll get used to the flywheel, and its gains or advantages won't be felt anymore after owning it for a while. I can't really say I can feel it TODAY or NOW, because I'm so used to it. I'm going to have to go find a prelude with a stock flywheel and clutch to drive around to realize how much heavier the stock flywheel is....then i'll get back into my car, and i'll be wowed all over again
I've had a few starter problems. The starter gear and the flywheel don't catch and just grinds or spins. I've experienced this 4 times so far since December of last year. I believe someone else on the board also has this problem. (try searching for past fidanza threads)
