they have a groupbuy for the fidanza for $359 + $8 shipping on GBC:
http://www.groupbuycenter.com/buy.asp?row_id=4849

i also heard fidanza and ClutchMasters are the same, and CM are a lot cheaper. so i would just get a CM flywheel.

theres also a groupbuy on them for $315 shipped, and $310 shipped(but tax for CA)

$315 - http://www.groupbuycenter.com/buy.asp?row_id=4774
$310 - http://www.groupbuycenter.com/buy.asp?row_id=5095

curious as to how bad is drivablility affected?

If it's really bad then I'm trying to look for a 12ish lb flywheel. But I heard to stay away from chromoly so does that mean I should stay away from JUN?

jbx-
your sig is WAY too big. Please resize it to no taller than 150 pixels or remove it.

I hope this size is reasonable... Anyway getting back to the topics, since for those with flywheels, you tend to rev faster (accelerate quicker), do you have any trouble going uphill ? Any side-effects from this mod ?

it's not bad at all, it's VERY drivable, takes a day or two to get completely used to it. Starting is not bad, I got pullies afterwards, and when the engine is cold, (higher idle) with two other passengers in the car i can start off from stop without giving ANY gas. I can let out the clutch in first without gas and it won't stall

ok i got a question pertaining to P00p's comment. I bought my lude a year and about 2 months ago used from a Toyota dealership. Now the car was a reposession. I noticed the other night when I was talking to someone about driving a manual that when i release the clutch in first and give it NO gas, it doesnt stall. I was doing it to show them what it is like to stall so they know what it feels like. Now, wtf .. i got a little scared, i mean, shouldnt it stall?

I think it should.. I know mine does.. once in a blue moon I'll forget that my tranny is in first when I start up my car and after I start I'll just let out the clutch and my car will jolt a bit and die.

Maybe your clutch is going?

well i doubt my clutch is going. I only have 25,XXX miles on the car. I dont know it was weird. I mean, my tranny is really really good. I've never had a grinding problem and I can shift to 1st gear going about 5-10mph without any problems (athough i almost never do).

poop-- You have the Fidanza flywheel?? or which one do you have and what wieght is it? Also I was wondering how much this piece helped your acceleration and drivability; I mean is your car NOTICABLY quicker?? Enought to warrant the extra couple of hundred of dollars for the lightened flywheel?

Are you telling me that when you put your car in 1st, and you drop your clutch all the way. You dont stall?

zarm: I believe he has the 8.xxlbs one.
