Farewell

Today I sold my 5th gen.It is a bitter sweet feeling.I blew the motor a while back and didnt have the time or resources to put in another one plus I needed a more commuter friendly car since my trade has me traveling all over. I bought a 06 Toyota Tacoma 4 cyl 2wd with 55k miles on it bone stock.I will slowly do a few things to it but not much. I will still be on from time to time but not nearly as much as before. I hope I still get invited to the indy meets though.Happy Luding errbody!

It's 9 years newer with 150,000 less miles on it.....and it still runs. That's how. An old modified Honda isn't the best choice for everyone.

Actually the truck gets the same mileage on the highway and i just mean more commuter friendly because its quieter, has AC, and more comfortable suspension.

The buyer was a 40ish year old white guy who flips cars on the side.he is some sort of rep for procharger and he has a 950 horse procharged 08' mustang. He's just going to fix it and resell it.he also bought the Rays wheels, foggies, and mugen rep spoiler with it.

So we took all that stuff of for nothing . Oh well.

Maybe we'll see it run again some day.

BTW, I'm sure you'll still be invited to the meets in Indy, if there are any.

You will have to be more specific, he blew 2 engines in that car.

1st engine: Floated a valve in the built engine that was in the car when he bought it.

2nd engine: Big puddle + CAI = Hydrolock.

LAME! We do need to get together for meets again. Monday-Wednesdays are best for me and the occasional Sunday afternoon. Hooters Wednesday meets were the best.
