F20B in 00 w/SS

Here is the situation. Ive got a 00 w/the tip tranny. OF COURSE THE TRANNY IS BAD, WHY DO YOU ASK??? I can get a tranny from a local yard for $800, not a bad deal, if its good. My question to the veteran BB guys is I have a fetish for H motors, and oddly, the best one is called an F20b. Should I pull the A4 and replace with the F20 and new tranny? Leave it the way it is w/new tranny? Either motor and do the 5spd swap and have it running come next summer?

Little direction would be great as I like to do the different. You may notice the screen name sr20cars??? It is because I put an SR20DET in a CRX. I can do it, just dont know which one I should do.

Thanks for the input.
EDITED because I straight up molested spelling.

$800 for some junk yard SS transmission isn't a very good deal. I wouldn't pay that much for a used and defective transmission.

Fix car, sell car, buy 5spd
or
5spd swap keep H22

Yes it is a destroke version of the h22 with iron shelves and type s cams but don't waste your time by putting one in the lude because our cars need torque and that something the f20b is somewhat lacking in. So either do what Solid recommmends or if your dying to be different build a k20/24 hybrid and dump it in there
