F max turbo, who's got it? i need some input. - Honda Prelude Forum

Hey, I'm turbocharging my 5th gen prelude soon. i need some feed back from f max turbo lude owners. Your setup will be helpful too. This could be the update from all the last postings you guys made.

(288 whp... is it more or less?

stock suspension and the frame take that much hp? i know it's rigid(5thgen frame struc.)

Are all of you running at 8-9 psi? who's done some mod on the
engine(blue printed engine).

How is it like for daily driving?

When does the boost kick in on various different f max turbo ludes?

clutch setup?

brake setup.

anyone with a blown engine, or even turbo being cracked? Engine mount crack?

all that good stuff.

I can give you some advice next weekend when i drive my car for the first time.

It was a basic FMAX kit at forst then I kinda couldn't stop buying stuff, anyway here's a list of what I have:

JE Pistons (9.1:1)
Eagle Rods
Darton Sleeves
NuFormz Blockguard
Bored 0.20" over

Stock head

Basic Fmax Kit upgraded with:
Polished Piping
Spearco FMIC
Tial Wastegate
60-1 turbo
720cc injectors
SpeedPro engine management
Ignition setup of some sort...I dunno what they bought for me yet
CM Stage 5 clutch

Anyway i'll let you know what it feels like after I break it in and tune it on the dyno.
