OK here's the story. I have a JDM 5th gen (Si-R). I accidentally brought a UKDM non standard catback. I also have a UKDM Spoon decat. So my understanding was that the longer decat should compensate for the JDM shorter cat and longer mid section?

Problem is... There's a gap between the new system and old downpipe. (Approx 70mm) I've been told that the UKDM and JDM downpipes are the same length? So why is there this gap? The new system fit under the car perfectly and is on the mounts correctly. We're baffled.

Just checked the Spoon decat and it's about 35cm - which is about right for a UK spec.

If you measure it and go to an exhaust shop they should be able to make something to connect.

Looks like you need that little extension they sell with aftermarket SH headers.
