Essentially my audio system is "locked up" in a sense. I had a dead battery and needed a new starter and had to pop the clutch to get the car started. I noticed the radio wasn't working and I was getting some CO-1 message. I got the car back today and noticed the same "error" message. Just curious, I pressed some buttons and eventually an ERR-3 came up and now pressing any button does not do a thing. I also noticed the auto theft light blinking as well. Is this a common thing? or an easy fix? I suppose saying it's locked up is the only way to describe it. Nothing is working on it. Thanks for the help guys!

i did the same this disconnect your battery again and look in your manual for the code for some reason the preludes you have to reset the radio. there should be a 4 digit code somewhere that you can type in on the deck itself. and it will work again if you dont have the code honda will do it. i dont know if they charge though

Thanks for the help guys! Turns out I had to leave the audio system on for an hour and luckily the previous owner wrote the 5 number code in the manual so I'm good to go.

good to hear, i was worried about the code when i bought my prelude, prev owner didnt write it down. I scoured all over the car before i called him, he finally told me that the OEM security code card (the one that comes with the car) was under the cupholer bottom. sigh of relief :P Good thing i read the manual before trying to start my car with the "ZOMG NIFTY RED JDM KEY"
