Engine Swap Si and Vtec

Hello everyone
just have some question, has anyone ever done a swap between the none vtec ( Si engine ) and the Vtec engine in the 2000 honda prelude ?
I have a 2000 prelude Si, Its making a ticking sound in the head of the engine, when checked out, i was told it was a manufacturing fault. I was thinking of swapping the Si head with a Vtec head. Can it be done ? Has anyone ever done it before ? Will it increase the power of the engine ?

you'd be best off to tell us what engine code you currently have in the car so we know exactly what you have.

What country are you in? All 2000 Preludes I know of were all 2.2 VTEC motors from the factory.

Well we had the F22Z Si, and I know a lot of the European cars had 2.0 SOHC engines.

Long story short, you probably can't swap the heads of the engines (all this being said while we don't know what sort of engine you have) and it would be easier to just sell and buy a car that already has the H22 fitted. The swap tends to be far more expensive.
