engine problem due to fuel system...

okay i installed my new fuel rail and fuel pressure regulator the other day and im running at approx. 40psi--first off is that to high? oaky and now to my real problems my check engine light came on and so i check it out and it spit out three codes: 45(running to rich/lean): 71( misfire of injector 1): 73( misfire of injector 3). i have stock injectors and my only other mods are: intake, pullies, plug and wires, cam gears.

what the F*CK is wrong?
i think im flooding the injectors bc i upgraded everything but them. im getting my VFAC tonite and im going to try to install it myself to save some money, but do u guys think the VFAC will fix the problem?

also im getting my car dynoed to tune the cam gears and the VFAC as soon as i have time

dudes i need some advice,

I would gather that you are running too rich, that the fuel pressure is too high. Without an acute method of verifying your a/f mixture (wideband O2 sensor, such as found on many chassis dynos), there is no way to know for sure. But 40 psi sounds to high to me for a relatively stock NA system with stock injectors and simple bolt-ons.

If you are getting you lude dyno tuned, make sure the shop has a wideband O2 sensor so that it can be tuned properly.
