Emergency tranny install issue!!!

Wuts goin on gentlemen,

Ok i just got a call from the shop---now i'm very unclear as to wut exactly they were referring to---but i was told there is a part broken on my new tranny (they are doing a tranny swap)

Basically, he described it as an aluminum piece on the shifter, which is vital and i cant shift without it......i have no idea wut he's talking about, but does ANYONE ELSE HAVE ANY IDEA?!?!?!?

Call me crazy, but checking with Honda might be a good idea.

Or your local dealer. Did the mount not come with the cables? If you buy the cables new, you get the mount with them. Does your shop not know what you need? If they don't, why don't they??!!

That didn't come with the trans? I'd be concerned about crap in the tranny now if I were you.

My tranny looks like it is missing part # 6 in that last picture... It is at my friends transmission shop now being torn down to just the case and bell housing so that I can have it powder coated

Were you able to get that part from honda? Did they have to order it?
