emergency

aite i got my intake in, woo hoo, but i think it was something from the resonator or something from the stock intake part. well its some circle things, size of a top of a soda can, it has some metal line coming from it and it hangs, i think i took it out from the resonator. wat do i do with that, do i just let it hang or it is suppose to go in the aem part of it

thanks

that's part of the resonator. you can take it out and just plug the vacuum hose that comes out from there.

oh ok koo, i got scared cuz i just looked under my car and its just hanging, my mechanic did a good job though, he made it hanger higher so it dont bang against anywhere and it jsut stay put.

You guys do know wat i am talkin bout though rite, some circle thingy, could it be the o2 sensor?

Also while changing my intake, well i took out a peice in the wheel place to help take out the resonator, like near the tire, well its a little opening and i didnt put that peice bak in so if u look in my wheel place u ccan see the filter alitte. would that be bad if it rains, i think it gets more air cuz more opening but i think it would be bad if it rains , wat do u think

thats the Butterfly actuator, it opens up the second opening in the resonator when you hit higher RPMS. the vacuum line connects to a black box close to were the AEM bracket mounts to the engine, and the line goes from the black box to the intake maniflod "nipples".

the little metal wire is what opens the door. make sure that thing is secure though, zip-tie it down so that the actuator doesn't fall off, if that happens you will have an open vacuum line and will cause the erratic idle.
