On this item just get the plugs from your local dealer...they are very cheap. My whole set was like 3 dollars.

Majestic honda should sell them but shipping and handling would rape you.

Also, do not mess with getting the kit...just get the plugs. I recently did this on my prelude and it was very easy.

Make sure you've got the right part number: 17199-PT3-AHM . Just get it from your dealer.

I ordered the above part number...got these plugs...why do they not look anything like the ones in the car now?

The ports currently have plugs that are flush with the manifold. Unless I install these "open side" down I don't see how they could be the same...and if I install them "open side" up...am I going to have issues removing them next time?

install them open side up with the edge (top) flush. i think they just hollowed them out to save cost/materials. you won't have any issues doing it this way

The only issues with the new plugs is once they are installed it's harder to get them out with the same method as the brass ones.

I tried tapping them the same way with the same tap and it stripped it immediately. I had to buy a larger tap and basically use the tap to twist the plug out instead of slide-hammering it out.
