Edmunds Sports Coupe Comparo Test

I just ran across this. Very interesting test. I was a bit surprise to see that they included the Prelude. Check out the editor's comments about our car. Some of them are right on the money, some are not.

Hmmm...4th place. I figured it should've fallen to 3rd behind the RSX and Celica. The VW GTI in second place?! I don't know if I agree that the Prelude's stock suspension is "soft" as they said. I do agree about their assesment of ATTS. After a full "novice" season in Solo2, I was able to fully experience ATTS around the turns. I also have made the car do some 4-wheel drifting...not something that usually happens with a FWD.

if you guys had a more 'jdm like' prelude over there, then the prelude would of sold so much better, and also done better in the test...

By this I mean, the climate control, the steering wheel, the standard cf even on the base and thats just looking at the interior...

I guess the powers at Honda are better at killing the prelude off than I am....

Isnt this the same car that won the best handling car under 30k in car and driver magazine.

It also won the best coupe in car and driver, when it was against the GSR, GTI, GT-S...can't remember what else. It had the quickest times 0-60 and a 1/4 mile of 14.8. Anyone have this issue I want it.
