EDFC placement - an idea

I don't know how it is with you, but personally I hate messy car interiors, I mean a wire here, a wire there, a GPS sticked to the windshield, a CB on the floor, etc... The prelude's interior doesn't offer too much room for additional devices, still there's always something you can do about it...
When I bought my TEIN SuperStreet with EDFC, I worried about where to to fix the controller (I was sure I didn't want to stick it to the dashboard as suggested) and then I realised its size is compact enough to put it where you usually have the lamp levelling switch... It needed some modifications, but now it fits perfectly. The mod is so simple that some pics are enough to get the clue. Here you go...

I'm going to remodel my center console so that it can house the lamps levelling switch, the USB socket and some other extras...

I used that spot for this guy here.

Amazon.com: Escort 79-000041-01 Direct Wire SmartCord (Red): Electronics Amazon.com: Escort 79-000041-01 Direct Wire SmartCord (Red): Electronics

And it turned out like this.

Some test fits with a spare unit.

SoCalPrelude.com MODS only inforce rules on some and not on all. Kyle is a joke.

BTW, Eric Schultz in CA is a known scammer. He did it to me, he can do it to you. Just a heads up. Know as "backinblue92" here on PO.com

It's a common place for the EDFC to be installed on our cars.
