4300k bulbs have a slight yellow tint, 5000k bulbs are basicly bright white, and 6000k bulbs have a hint of blue. Anything past 6000k is completely pointless and is killing your light output performance.

I've been running 6000k bulbs for the past 3-4 years now and have used them for all of my TSX, S2K, E55, FX, and SC430 setups that I've had on my cars. Yes, I've actually had all these setups on my car. I did start off with the e46's, and then moved up to TSX's and so on and so on. Like Shimee has mentioned, we really do know what we're talking about when it comes to retrofits, cause you can search around here and/or preludepower.com

prelude1897. if i had the e46 already installed and balcked out, is it possbile and how much to swap it out to tsx projector?

thanks a lot guys for the info.. i think e46 aren't as great as the projectors but for 40 ducks complete retro u cant beat.The only think i don't like about the e46 projector are the length from the housing to the lens .making it stick out close to hitting the cover .. but overall they do light up the floor better than stock...=]
