Dual Exhaust Question

Okay so i know that dual exhaust on my lude would be a bad thing, but im planing on putting a low compression engine and running 20-25 psi, would that be too much for a single pipe and would it help to do a dual exhaust?

Never too much with one pipe.

I think people putting in 3" exhausts is definatly enough. FYI look at evo's. They (older ones) don't have dual exhausts.

Although from your current mods, seems like a far away project for 20+ psi h22 motor...sounds like you just want a dual exhausts.

I just blew a piston ring so I'm going to build a completely new engine to put in it

I would just do 3inch all the way. Single pipe.

And there's really nothing wrong with custom.

Kits are always bad, custom costs less, and with the right work, the results are amazing.. don't be scared.

And btw.. dual exhaust looks horrible on preludes, you don't need one, stop looking for excuses! Custom exhaust from the cat back and you will be happy dude, also 3" may be a bit much more than needed.. the size of your header pipes is much smaller, and 3" pipe is excessive 2 1/2"+ should be more than enough, creates a better sound too. Unless you like rice..
