I am getting this code from time to time as well as hard starting when warm. I have checked the NGK leads, replaced the plugs with NGK Iridium, and replaced the coil and rotor with new Honda parts.
I have also checked the timing and it is bang on 15 degrees. The compression is ok at 225, 220, 215, 225.
I have read the Helms but it looks like the diagnostics only apply to the USDM external coil OBDII model, I have a JDM OBDI Type S.
Any ideas or should I just take it to Honda?
