To tell you the truth you dont need the tool. But it doe smake things easier. I had to install Neon lights in my doors, but i didnt have the tool. So i did break 1 clip but thats between the 2 doors and taking the pannel on and off a few times. So save yourself some $$ and just be careful puling the pannel off. By the way that 1 broken clip didnt make any difference.

You don't need it but it's not too much money and honestly it does make getting those clips off easier......not just the doors either (trunk area, sidewalls...).

I got it thinking that I needed it. I got it for around $6.50 from Advanced Auto (for that matter any autoparts store). Most of the clips can be removed by just pulling on the trim with some force. Only thing that I would suggest is be careful w/ the plastic flap that covers the screw in the door latch. It's easy to break off.

I'd still get it just for insurance. If you're luck is as good as mine, you'll wish you have it when you have half the door off and need to drive to an autoparts store w/ half the door trim on.

you dont need. i work with car syereo stuff and on the lude its not nessacary. ok what you do is in the front you see the clip where the dash is. pull the panel by getting you hands in and the clip comes out. then slowly work aroud. with the panel popper you need to look for the stuff. i use it on american cars because there clips go in and grip.... hondas go in and clip in which can unpop. ive done it so many times and nbever broke 1

ive removed dash pieces so many times it is getting rediculous. I know how to take every part of the dash out easily. But ive never dealt with the doors. If i pull on them, will they come out, i know where the clips are via my Helms. But if i pull hard, will they pop out?

well first remove screws of course then just slip you hand in and when you do that the should pop....if not u will feel where its snug and with your hand in the door pannel/car area tug it lightly. pop ots out the clips arent like the dash. much looser
