I just got done swapping out my A4 for a JDM, Even though it took 1 and a half to do it( working 2 jobs and skool) That engine is up and running. During the entire procedure i could lock/unlock my doors and operate my windows. Recently I discovered that on the inside driver, i couldn't lock only unlock. Outside locks work fine on both sides. Car sat for a week. I unlocked from the outside got in and went to lock the doors and nothing. I couldnt lock or unlock from driver side.( Passenger was fine). Car sat for a week. Now the windows dont work on either side, and i can only lock on the inside from passenger side. Outside works still run fine. When i lock from pass(inside) i hear a relay click under the dash.
Any help guys i have spent TONs of Hours and money doing the swap and now the (*@#$)(*@#)($*@()$*@#()$*@# windows and locks dont wana work

Yep, def. check fuses. If they all check out ok I'd check for power at the switch and go from there. Since It's windows and locks. I'd try to get a wiring diagram and find out if they are wired in on the same circuit. If you need them I have access to mitchell (Technicians program) at School and could probably get you a printout of the wiring schematics. Good luck man.

Sorry that slipped my mind, I have checked the fuses and the main 40Amp relay under the hood. All good. I probably have to pull out the multimeter and prop. The driver inside handle* includes switch to lock/unlock door* is brand new. Also i just got done with messing with the locks some.

The passenger side now unlocks and locks from the inside and out. The outside driver side when i turn the key doesnt automatically lock or unlock( the switch that reads the position of the key cylinder that sends signal to unlock or lock the passenger side<<< its also brand new) Still no luck with the windows thought lol thank god i have a sunroof.

oK I Just fixed da issue. Somehow ( i believe it was either nissan or toyota) grimlins came and unplugged all my harness on the driver side, As well as my speaker. lol. I have not touched that door in over 3 weeks but anyways i plugged everything back and everything is fine now. Im bout to spend my weekend at least 5k rpms or higher. Thnx guys
