dont know wat it is

ok sorry bout soo many treads but i just have to make sure. got my aem cai on, near the bumper part where the new filter is, theres a circle thing hanging kind of, its attached to a covered wire and it is a circle thing which has a metal wire coming out of it, I dont know wat is is, my friend said its da o2 sensor but i dont know, wat am i suppose to do with that? someone told me they just tapped it to the side cuz its nothing. wat should i do?

Don't listen to your friend anymore...really just don't. The O2 sensor (both of them) are in your EXHAUST system not intake system. Don't worry about that "circle thing" in the bumper. It's just a valve. Leave it there, you'll be fine.

u r sure rite, yea i didnt believe them cuz they dont drive ludes, hehe, so i shouldn't worry, my mechanic just left it there but he kind of made it higher so it dont hit the bottem, wat is that anyways?

thats the Butterfly actuator, it opens up the second opening in the resonator when you hit higher RPMS. the vacuum line connects to a black box close to were the AEM bracket mounts to the engine, and the line goes from the black box to the intake maniflod "nipples".

the little metal wire is what opens the door. make sure that thing is secure though, zip-tie it down so that the actuator doesn't fall off, if that happens you will have an open vacuum line and will cause the erratic idle.

well the mechanic somehow tied it higher so it doesn't hang low, also it doesn't move around either, so i should be in good shape? just leave it there?
