Does rims void warranty?

I got 17" Konig rated R's and i bought lugs along with it. today when i was driving my car started wobbling and the steering wheel was instable and i heard noises so i pulled over and 4 of lugs came off of one of my wheels and even 2 of the little things where u screw the lug into broke off!!!! does Honda cover that under warranty or anything like that?

that sounds like it's your fault for not torquing the lug nuts correctly... i dont think that can be covered under warranty since it's your fault. it's worth a try tho.

Put the stock rims on first...then take it in and tell them that when they last checked it that they forgot to tighten it...they should fix it after they give you a hard time.

Basically, depending on which dealership you go to, if they see any type of "modification" they'll start to question you. All you have to say is, "I had my stock rims on" and stick by your story!

They can still say that you didn't torque the rims properly. The only way you can prove that it wasn't your fault is to have a receipt showing that the dealer removed your rims in the not-so-distant past.

Either way DON'T mention anything about after market rims. You know nothing about rims if they start asking questions.
Let us know.
