Does our cars resemble a porsches image

Personally i think my boss is tripped she says that a miata is a poor mans porsche no offence but i see no resamblance there.. i though preludes look more like it cause of the curved lights and such. Can anyone do a photoshop image of both cars?

Neither one resembles a Porsche. you need a "none" option up there

As far the Porsche spirit goes, I'd have to say a Miata is closer, especially compared to models like the 914.

I have always believed that the Prelude is the poor man's porsche. I have thought that the prelude resembles the porsche a little bit. My friend and I just had an argument over this about 4 days ago. He then proceeded to say that the Carrera GT resembled his acura legend and that he should sue porsche. (He was making fun of me.) But oh well, I still think the prelude resembles the porsche a bit.

5gen prelude looks kinda like a rx7 and supra combined... but it's still a prelude.

you are nuts

a prelude (or Miata)
are NOTHING like a Porsche.

that's comparing apples to oranges.

I think it is safe to say that of the 4 cylinder imports, a Prelude is one of the classier, nicer ones. But a Porsche is a European sports car, very expensive.

when people say a car is a poor man's porsche, they aren't so much comparing your car to a porsche as they are insulting it, saying you really wish you had a porsche, but you just CAN'T afford it....

i say neither looks like a porshe.

the 00 celica and up looks somewhat like the lude cuz if you look at the taillights, flip them upside down and over, what do you get? a 4th gen ludes rear. then look at the head lights, then look at the 5th gens front and imagine them being stretched, what do you get? the celicas headlights.

now if you want to see something that has the ludes lights, look at the 01 mountaineer, now thats copying.

The only way I think they look like a Porsche is if you have the widebody kit, then they slightly resemble an old 944

your boss is on crack for even mentioning a Miata and Prelude in the same sentence as a Porsche.....

what next?

which car looks more like the F360 Modena?

VW Beetle or Chevy Cavalier?
