Does AEM bypass valve rob air form the intake?

let me know if its a big difference..or if its worht it to have it on

I think it is but it is up to u Check out the NTPOG page and u will c how close the intake is to the ground If it robs and power no one has yet to share a dyno and probably only 1/10 of a hp since u won't get that much to begin w/

This isn't the best method but it sorta proves the point. My friend has one on his car and we put our hand over valve and reved the engine up. Didn't feel any suction at all. Also him and his friend dynoed one with, one without and there was a 1 hp difference. this was two different cars and two different runs so it doesn't seem like it makes that big a difference. Its a good piece of mind I guess.

AEM bypass

I've heard of a loss of 5 flywheel bhp. I've got the thing I've just been entirely too lazy to put it in.

U can't even get 5whp from the intake and what w/out the by pass that would be like 10whp from an intake

i notice the difference when i put on my bypass, it felt like the car was heavier than b4. and that it was having trouble breathing
