Kinda like seatbelts and shatterproof windshields, right? Yeah only wimps would worry about flying through the windshield or have pieces of glass poking their eyes out. I hear what you say and I totally agree. Us tough guys we don't need any of these so-called safety features in our ludes.

There were no "side airbags" offered for any Prelude, ever. There WERE passenger's side airbags for ALL 5th gens.

I have a 2001 SE (Canadian model) and I don't have the side air bag. I've got the air bag for the passenger like everyone else has. And yes, I've got the micron air filter on mine as standard equipment.

Jack hammer, you don't need a side air bag to survive in preludes,.
preludes are already safe enough. I didn't say you don't need airbag and seatbelts... that's why you don't need a side airbag.
trust me it is. That's why I bought another one.

If you MUST have one, because you feel that without one, you'll die,
just get RSX OEM recaro seats and stick it in preludes. of course you have to reprgram your computer and do some wiring.
I think it could work...
I rather get a cage put in... it's much safer and cheaper.
