diy header install???

I've bought the hp motorsport header and want to get the basic diy instructions to diy. Is it as simple as undoing the bolts on the old one, taking it off and bolting on the new one? Plus putting the 02 sensor on the new one? Appreciate the help

that is pretty much it. Taking off the bolts on the cat is usually the hardest part.

that's basically it. And don't forget to unhook your o2 sensor before taking it off.

Uh, what about the part about soaking the bolts/nuts on the stock header with a lubricant (WD40 etc).

If you got a 97, they're gonna be REALLY hard to come off. It would be nice if you had access to some air tools...

Not sure if the HP headers are like the DC ones: the bracket that bolts to the back of the block near the flexpipe of the header downpipe... That was a BIYATCH to put on laying on your back with the car on jackstands!!!!

I found it easier to unplug the sensor first and then take the sensor off. I couldn't get that sucker off while I was under the car.

For the DC bracket. I trimmed the studs back just enough so that when the bolt was on it was flush with the end of the stud. Even then it just fit over them and the front of the engine.
