Distributor cap and rotor replacement
My car misfires at high RPM (7000+), and Ive been trying to track it down. I have looked at the cap and rotor to see how they look, and there is rust on the blade of the rotor. Has anyone else seen this? My car has about 22k miles on it, for reference. And the spark plugs arent really worn at all. A friend of mine suggested trying a new coil, and he is going to let me try the stock coil he took off his car to see if it helps. I also bought a new cap and rotor which Im going to put on tonight to see if that improves the situation. Failing that, Im buying some new wires.
