Disc brake upgrade on 5th gen....

If I was to put front discs in place of the rear discs (which are smaller), would I have problems fitting and mounting the brake pads and caliper?

Basically, I want bigger discs in the back since they are smaller than the front. And I don't want to pay too much $$$ for this upgrade. Thanks.

I don't think you'd have any problems because of the size since you can get big brake kits from AEM and other companies. But I don't know if it would fit because they are supposed to be on the front, and not the rear. Why don't you just get some Brembo's? They aren't too pricey, and they are pretty good brake upgrades.

aren't too pricey? The last time I checked, the Brembo upgrade is over two thousand dollars

I assume he is referring to the discs and not the whole brake kit..

SHOOT!

Even still. Brembo rotors aren't the cheapest thing in the world either.

I was thinking of buying two front rotors, and placing them in place of the rear discs.....I'm looking to upgrade brakes without paying for the "big brake kit'...

I was talking about the cross drilled rotors or slotted brakes made by Brembo.
Big brake kits do cost a lot.
