Differeance between JDM H22 Intake manifold and USDM h22a4 IM?

Whats the differance between the JDM H22 Intake manifold and a USDM H22a4 intake manifold? I know the injectors are differant but what else is? Is the Throttle body the same?

I think the plenum is bigger in the JDM one, to match the bigger JDM throttle body. If I'm wrong, someone let me know.

I've got both of them sitting right hear in my front of me...

If we are talking easrly H22A as opposed to the SiR H22A...

The JDM H22A from the 4th Gen prelude is a different manufacture than the 5th Gen.

The TB is different as the MAP sensor is on the TB for the 5th Gen and the 4th Gen one is on the firewall.

Also the EGR ports a different on the 4th Gen... the points on where they drill the egr ports out are welded shut on the 4th gen IM and block with brass/copper studs on the 5th gen.

Other than that... they are basically identical.

Actually, there the JDM IM has 2 nipples by the inlet side where the USDM (or 5th gen) has 3. As well the JDM one has a single nipple on the opposite side (commonly broken during transport).

Yepper, forgot about that.... the 3rd nipple on the firewall side is not used... however, one of the 3 is larger than the other two.

What do I need to do in order to get a JDM Intake manifold and throttle body to work on my BB6 lude? I already bought a BB6 fuel rail and injectors.

Nothing.

It should just work.

If you don't have the firewall mounted MAP sensor... then I gather you'd need that.

Why not just use the BB6 IM... that's what I did... (Unless you are using an SiR motor.)

The motor that I bought didn come with an Intake manifold. I looked around for a BB6 Intake manifold but couldnt find one that was complet with sensors. Instead, I bought a JDM one and need to make it work.

Can you put a 5th gen TB on the JDM intake manifold so that I dont have to get that firewall mounted map sensor?
