DC5 Type R steering wheel fit the 5th gen Prelude?

Will the dc5 Type R steering wheel fit the 5th gen prelude? I heard the EP3 doesn't, but they both look the same to me?

they will both fit. I think the ep3 is vinyl and the dc5 is leather. Also the dc5 doesnt have cc IIRC but the epc does.

DC5 has a single stage airbag. I got this wheel for my car and installation was a snap. There is a full install writeup on this site or preludepower. Make sure you disconnect your battery and wait 15 minutes before disconnecting the airbag in your stock wheel.

You can adapt your existing cruise buttons to work with the DC5. It's just a matter of mounting them. Once you have both wheels side-by-side you will figure it out

Don't you have any second thoughts on the airbag issue? 'Cause every airbag is developed for a specific car and specific cockpit including different volumes and such. I'm in doubt of changing the leather on my steering wheel because of the neccessery airbag removal.

i wonder if you can use the ludes airbag and just install it onto the new steering wheel? but would that include the airbag cover as well or no?

s2k's (ap1) bags have deployed correctly in the prelude.
