DC header vs GReddy 4th Gen header picture 56K Warning

I'll post more later but this should give people a general idea of what you have to cut and how much.

Note: The DC's holes look bigger in that picture but trust me they're not, it's the carbon build up inside playing tricks on you. Both headers have about a 45mm opening there (~1.75"). Also note that the secondaries are longer on the GReddy.

I think it'll be tight but it should be able to fit in there.

It just looks like an odd spot for it.

Catless header!
Thumbs down to the rotten egg smell.

Also, if anyone has an extra DC B-pipe, I'd gladly take it off your hands for some $$$.

I'm not cutting the exhaust this time. I have my own reasons for this though.
The DC and GReddy are still different even if you cut the collector.
I'll try to have more pictures up later tonight if I get home at a decent time.

If you guys dont want to actually cut the header or exhaust you can get a shorter testpipe or short high flow cat to make it fit.

While this is a possibility I think this is too long for that. I'm pretty sure you HAVE to cut something. I'll try to take pictures of this being held up to the car when it goes in. If I can't get a picture then I'll just state the results in words.

June 14th at RPMNYC. I'm tempted to find some place more local sooner though as I'm thinking all I have to do is bring the DC header with me and show it to a welder. Then I could do the install myself. But for now, June 14th.

What I would do, and this is just me... is get a universal highflow cat, and um yea have the muffler shop adjust how long the piping will be for the cat between the exhaust and downpipe.

My .02....

Even if you use the stock cat (which I will be for a few weeks) you HAVE to cut something anyway.

Ray, did you ever manage to get measurements against a SH header? If not I'm going to get a thread going looking for them, I really wouldn't mind this header and if it was going to fit without messing around it would be a done deal.
