It sure does, but it sure doesn't do much else..
I would go with the OP's option for the money, it has everything you would need at a pretty solid price. I have an Alpine IVA-W203 that I bought 2 years ago for $500 and it doesn't have GPS maps built in, or picture in picture. The GPS feature is an extra attachment you would buy if wanted.
However, alpine knows their stuff when it comes to making CD/DVD head units. I know people who went with knock-off brands and began having issues down the road. Just be wary of amazing deals.

What else does it need to do? Rand McNally + Standard DVD player = $100 savings.

Can you post a link of a, "standard DVD player"? Then add that cost to a Rand Mcnally and tell me it's $100 cheaper AND a better option than the OP's $279 dual-din in-dash DVD/CD/MP3/MP4/GPS/PNP/HD/IPOD/Bluetooth/USB/3D/blahblahblah etc.
Sorry nobody really answered the OP's question yet, yes it will fit fine man. If it's anything like my dual-din Alpine head unit, you'll loooove it.

^ The usefulness of the Rand McNally is dependant upon how current the version is and which locale variation you have. They are quite useful if up to date and of the area you are driving in.
There's nothing more useful than the ability to read a map. If you need a person or gadget to tell you "left turn in 200ft", you fail as a driver and as a human in general.

Yea dude just keep your $240 and put in an extra $250 and buy a name brand one so it can last you longer. Who knows how long this one lasts you, maybe after a year it will break and you just threw away over $200. Try to do everything once and spend just a little bit more, it goes a long way. Plus, you should be able to find some on sale in big stores the week before the holidays. Good luck man, keep us posted with what you get and give a review.
Kronn you sound like an old man who resents technology. People don't need to read maps anymore, it's 2011 and technology does that for us. Sure I'll have a bit more respect for someone who can read a map old-school style though.

I don't resent technology. I've been a computer technician for the last 15 years. I resent stupidity, ignorance, and laziness.

Do you resent trying to drive and navigate while reading a Rand McNally in a major city you haven't been through before?
Personally, I enjoy reading a map, but not through the heart of a major metropolitan area I'm not familiar with all while trying to drive my car. You call it lazy to use a GPS, I call it common sense.
To the OP, I have an Alpine IVA-W205 in mine. The screen is 6.5 inches and fits just fine. The overall width of the unit is probably 7", so the one you linked should be fine. Just be sure it's navigation ready if that's what you really want the unit for.
Personally, I have a Garmin GPS I bought for $100 before I even bought my Prelude. The location of the stereo in the Prelude is a bit low for my liking, I like to have the directions near eye level. Just a personal preference.
I always know where I'm going before the engine gets started.
