couple 5 speed swap questions

I am in the process of a 5 speed swap on my 2000 Auto Prelude and I was wondering can a 5 speed Prelude SH ECU work on my car or do I need the 5 speed Base Prelude ECU?

Also what transmissions can I use? I was told get an accord transmission since I plan on boosting and they have higher RPM's or something. If you guys recommend an Accord tranny what year should I be looking at? I don't know what ones will fit my H22A4.

EDIT: Nevermind about that ECU question, I found a write up on how to change my auto ECU to manual.

you got a lot of tranny that can fit on your h22

f22-f23-h23

and yes the f22-f23 (accord) will get you more rpm at high speed and low rpm at low speed

EX: with a prelude tranny when you speed up at 120km/h your rpm it's 3500 rpm but with the accord tranny you will run 120 km/h at 3000rpm that's good for fuel economy when you are crusing on the highway ..

so that why your friend told you that with a turbo it will be better (put the good pressure plate and clutch in it )if you got turbo

accord gear are longer it's a bit longer to reach your goal depends on your whp you will get

prelude gear is shorter so you will reach your goal faster but on top speed you will be lock faster than the accord
