Could this setup work...

I'm looking into a set of rims which are different offsets/widths for a 97-01 prelude.
The front is 18x7.5 +48 offset <--- i know this is a perfect specs for all the wheels.
However the problem herein lies with the rear wheels. They are 18x8.5 +50 offset.
if i were to shave the tab (obviously) would i still need to roll the fenders?
I was thinking of going with a 215/35/18 tire to accomodate the huge width of the 18x8.5 measurement.

will this staggered setup work with my fifth gen?

appreciate any advice, comments, insight.

Sweet jesus... hahaha. Thats a big rim.

IMO opinion, its not a good idea to put an 8.5 inch rim in the rear. Since your FWD, it would make more sense to have a wider rim/tire in the front. I don't even know w rim that wide and large woudl fit w/ shaving AND rolling.

Do some searching in the wheel & tire forum, there are lots of threads on tire width and offsets.

is this coming off a g35 or something? lol

i seriously doubt they'll fit... and if they did, more people would have 8.5 wide rims lol
