I was on the first GB because I thought it was going to turn out like yours, unfortunately, people wanted it to fit the Mugen bumper so there was a comprimise made. Did you use any special tool or machines when you made that plate? Im wondering if I could just make one in my garage.
If someone can get me a template that is "close" to fitting, I can mod it and produce them in aluminum just like my 4gen cooling plates. No groupbuy needed. I just can't start from scratch cause I'd have to borrow a 5gen to finish it on anyways.
If you could fill out the gapped areas on the sides near the headlights
what did you use to make it? Just a make shidt fiberglass?
I currently dont have the capacity to make this with enough consistant quality to charge money, but anything is possible if there is a demand for it. I did the best I could with the tools I had. Its made out of metal. I wanted to make it out of aluminum but I dont have the tools to work with it.

I made various templets, and in the end I still had to make adjustments to make this fit.
Well if someone decides to make a few of these and they turn out nice, I'll buy one too. I like the one shown by JDM H22A4 above or the carbon fiber one here. http://preludeonline.com/showthread.php?t=197433

there is no way on earth to get us a cooling plate like teh 4th gen... just way too many bends and too much midifying to make it work..
Wrong. Lude4LifeH22 has a CF cooling plate on his 5th gen....
It's not perfect, but it is possible. It'd be better if it attached to the bumper with those push rivet clips that hold the grill in right there on the inside edge of the headlights.

Damn. I really like the look of Lude4LifeH22's cooling plate. If there was another one made that was more form fitting I would buy it for sure.
