Hi! I have a black 2001 Honda prelude that I bought recently and apparently when the first owner purchased it from the Honda dealer she had an option to keep the original bumper or a full body kit and she chose the full body kit option. But I bought it with the front bumper having scratches and tearing on it, due to speed bumps and those parking lot bumps, and I want to replace just the front bumper with the original bumper that Honda prelude comes with. But the question I have is, does Honda remove some of the attachments on the front that would have been required for the original bumper to fit, but to fit the body kit bumper they removed some of the parts?

Whatever aftermarket bumper you had should have been mounted using the stock hardware. You should still be able to bolt up a stock bumper no problem. It's only held on by two screws and a bunch of plastic clips.
