I plan to switch from drop springs to a full coilover setup this spring and wanted to get opinions on which brand to get i have done quite a bit of research but have found few reviews that were any good. let me know what you guys think
Well I'm not going to be the asshole who complains about u not searching..
To stay on topic, I think it depends on ur plans. If its just to improve the ride but nothing extreme then any entry level coil overs is good.
K-sport has a wide variety of full coilovers for the 5thgen. It depends on what your looking for though, comfortable or sporty. Personally I like a combination between comfort and race suspension.K Sport Kontrol Pro Coilovers from HorsepowerFreaks

its frustrating to write same recommendations like every day all over again, because people are too lazy to use google or just to look the first two newest thread pages in the forum where these same questions have been already answered

with BC Racing youll get much more for your money than ksport/tein/d2
Lol sorry... I didn't meant it to be directing at you haha. My apology for not making it clear. I meant it as in I don't want to be an asshole about it because the thread has already been made. However yes it is annoying to get the same threads everyday.
its my fault for not searching but this was my first post and im new to threads sorry guys.
But on topic, i keep going back and forth between k sport and BC. I want to go as low as i can on the ride height but i also dont want to feel like im on a pogo stick thats why i want a full system so i can adjust the dampers
Here is a picture of this suspension setup I just bought for $500. It's still being shipped to my house but still a good example. fully adjustable Koni's and adjustable Ground Control sleeves.

Get something that is rebuildable like Tein or BC racing, if it isn't rebuildable then it isn't worth buying IMO. I have Tein Flex's and I love them, the rebuild fee is pretty cheap and the east coast branch is close. Adjustment range is huge, unlike some where they have a stupid high amount of dampening settings that aren't even noticeable these have just 16 where you can feel the difference between each and you can seriously dump the car or raise it to stock height. When I first installed I wanted to see how low they could go and I couldn't even kick the in ground lifts arms out from under the lift points of my car. The 225/45R16 tires were totally hidden to where the fender met the lip of the rim but now it's barely tucking all around with a firm setting so I don't rub or bottom out from softness and it's only at the 10 setting all around.

Don't give a recommendation if it frustrates you that much!
Just throw a link to one of the insights you have posted since joining 7 months ago and call it done.

BC has much more satisfied customers than tein or ksport.
that should tell something. price/quality is great there.
if youre planning to go low, you propaply need camber kit also
Not sure what you mean T.
If you looked at the link, it was for a set of barelyused Koni Adjustables.
I had Koni Adjustables on two of my Volkswagens (Scirroco and Jetta) and on one of my Preludes. I loved them and they never let me down.
Don't get fooled by price. QUALITY is not always equal to MORE EXPENSIVE. Not to mention that DEPENDABILITY is also not always associated with QUALITY.
I would take a nice DEPENDABLE and LESS EXPENSIVE Honda over a QUALITY and COSTLY Rolls Royce anyday.
I guess it all depends on who you are trying to impress and what you are trying to accomplish.
There are plenty of good quality that are ALSO inexpensive kits out there.

I'll let you guys know how the Koni + Ground Control setup works out for me after I get them on. I also bought a set of DC5-R wheels and some Ichiba 25mm spacers so some pictures will be in order.

Camber kits are not needed for tire wear, ALIGNMENTS are important.
my old accord was lowered and that lowering was eating upper ball joints. there was 1 year with it when I didnt need to change some of them. and I had it 8 years. first thing what I did to my lude was to get eibach camber adjustable upper ball joints

still I trust more coilovers what are track car proven... that tells something about quality too
yeah i plan to buy camber kits, even whe i just had it on lowering springs i had camber issues, i work in a honda dealrship so i can do alignments when ever i want but just setting the toe is not good enough when your dumped. I was considering going with the ingalls kits
